Cyanotype Weekend Workshop with Anne Haworth

Discover the art of Cyanotype printing and create beautiful blue prints
Learn how to make cyanotype prints - a printing process that creates beautiful blue prints using a variety of different images from found objects, photographs or your own hand drawn images.
You will be introduced to the process and shown how to coat your own paper and fabric with a light sensitive solution. You will experiment with different ways of exposing images to your paper and fabric both using the sun and UV light and have time to explore and be taken through the process from start to finish.
Using the skills you have gained experimenting with different techniques you will produce prints that can be made into cards, gifts small cushions etc.. You will have the opportunity to produce multi layered images as well as multiple exposures. If it’s a sunny day you will be able to play outside with wet cyanotypes as well as using other materials to print on to e.g wood and plastic
