Woodcut 6 week evening course

Over the course of two days together we will learn how to make a simple two or three multi block woodcut.
We will cover all elements of the process; from transferring your image, carving, registration, inking to printing a small edition.
We’ll focus on the key block method and will also experiment with background colours and gradients to achieve a variety of effects.

Bring any design ideas ready to go if you have them or an image you’d like to work from.
The process allows you to be as simple or complex with your imagery as you like making it suitable for beginners or those looking to advance their skills.

Additional materials may be available to buy from the tutor or the art shop next door. We limit our course numbers to 6 - in order for you to get the most from our tutors and the facilities.

Terms and Conditions:

Bookings are only confirmed on receipt of the full cost of the course. We reserve the right to cancel the course at a weeks notice if there are less than 4 participants booked.

Cancellation Policy:

The sum of £50, will be lost If you cancel at short notice (less than 2 weeks before the course start). If your place cannot be filled, no monies will be returned.
