Traditional Etching

During the 6 sessions of the course you will learn how to etch, print and develop your images using zinc plates with both Ferric salts and Nitric acids.

The course will cover hard & soft grounds, and a variety of different ways to use aqua tint including spit bite and sugar lift. During the course you will learn to use the etching presses and other studio equipment correctly. The course is suitable for beginners and those who would like to experiment and develop their etching skills, under Christine’s guidance.

Bookings are only confirmed on receipt of the full cost of the course. If full payment is not made, you will not be allowed to start the course.

Cancellation Policy:

The sum of £50, will be lost If you cancel at short notice (less than 2 weeks before the course start). If your place cannot be filled, no monies will be returned.
